Before and After!

by amandamaephotos

For as long as I can remember I have always loved building or fixing things. My Dad has every tool imaginable and there were always some forgotten scraps of wood laying around his shop, when I was growing up, that I would manage to make into some exotic treasure. If I couldn’t be found inside, you would most likely find me building a fort in the woods or the hayloft, or banging and sawing away at some new creation in my Dad’s shop. So, I have pretty much been creative my whole life, whether it was with my wardrobe (oh goodness!) or making a traveling gypsy caravan out of a pony cart, a dog cage, a foam target board and who knows what else!( don’t ask :b) Well anyway – in the past month or so that creativity has shot into high power mode and I can’t stop thinking of new and fun ways to express myself. I can’t even go into a Goodwill or Thrift store without, in my mind, redoing every piece of furniture in the building. Sometimes it can be a bit overbearing – let me tell you. Just ask Paul, he will tell you. He has had drag me out many a time. Now that my internship has ended, I have my afternoons free and they have been filled with projects, projects and what? – oh, more projects! It has been, honestly, more fun than you will know! Sure I may go to bed with a sore back from lifting a desk or I may have breathed in too much spray paint – but really, I had some fantastic times!

Okay well here you go, although I know the first thing you did was go straight to the photos – because I do it myself. I mean come on, who wants to read some boring blog when there are so many interesting images to be seen? :b

I have had this material sitting around my room for a few months now, and as you can see, I found a perfect new home for it!

I hope you have enjoyed viewing these as much as I do every day! Now go out and do something creative – you know you want to!
